NDIS roll out still going strong

NDIS Quarterly Report - March 2016

The latest progress report on the NDIS is out and it shows that almost 25,000 Australians now have approved plans in place – that’s just over 2,500 new participants since December.

That’s 25,000 Australians who now have greater choice and control in their lives. The good news is that overwhelmingly participants remain satisfied with their NDIS experience.

With the full national roll out set to start in July it’s great that the costs of the NDIS are still falling within expectations as planned.

Now that six out of seven state and territory governments have formalised NDIS agreements with the Commonwealth, all the signs so far point to roll outs are going according to plan.

That’s welcome news for the 435,134 eligible Australians who are still waiting.
