My name is Jane Paardekooper and I live in Dora Creek, Lake Macquarie and Molly is my daughter and she has acquired cerebral palsy from brain swelling due to a rare form of epilepsy.

We were from the time we left hospital under the care of paediatric brain injury rehab team, who were fantastic with us. But their funding is limited as to how much they could do for us.

And they actually asked us if we could be transferred to the NDIS, simply because there was a lot of research that had shown early intervention for a child like Molly could be very beneficial for her.
