Anglicare Australia Rental Affordability Snapshot

Anglicare Australia Rental Affordability Snapshot

Each year Anglicare Australia conducts the Rental Affordability Snapshot. Developed by the Social Action Research Centre at Anglicare Tasmania in 2007, it was designed to highlight the lived experience of people looking for housing while in receipt of a low income.

Anglicare Australia believes that acquiring a secure and suitable home is a significant factor in ensuring the health, wellbeing and inclusion of individuals and their families in our community. Affordable and appropriate housing does not only provide a physical structure to house its occupants, it also enables individuals to make use of their inherent potential to participate meaningfully in their personal and social lives.
